Have you been noticing more and more positions with this title? Technical Customer Success Management is a new profession designed to meet the needs of recurring-revenue model companies, like our client, an 11-year old SaaS solutions company.  For revenue to recur, their Customers must find Success in utilizing the solutions sold and the company must assist them in finding that success.  These positions focus on the customer after the sale of the solutions. It's like a Product Guru, Post-Sales On-boarding/Implementation Specialist, Ambassador and Account Strategist rolled into one. Here's the magic combination we need for this position with our growing client:

Role: Technical Customer Success Manager – a post-sales position  managing a portfolio of large enterprise customers, driving adoption of the SaaS solutions, helping customers realize the full potential of the products across the entire enterprise.  While this position has a very high customer relationship component, it is not a sales role, it's suitable for candidates that have held poisitions like Technical Account Manager, Project Manager, Customer Delivery Manager, etc. 

Solution Offering: SaaS-based Change/impact analytics, Test Automation, Code Remediation and Quality Management software for large enterprise SAP ECC/HANA, Oracle EBS and Salesforce customers.  Help customers make one their largest IT investments, their ERP or CRM Systems, work continuously and more smoothly

ROI – These solutions ensure the smoothest, most risk-free and time-saving results for application change, upgrades and continuous delivery in the ERP realm.  Reducing time, effort and risk by 50% or more. Ensures faster release velocity while ensuring quality and collaboration between Business and IT

Location:  Although we have Irvine in the job heading, the role can be based in any city with a major airport in the western US - CA, OR, WA, AZ, CO preferred
Travel:  A virtual office role with approximately 30% travel to visit customers in the Western US.

Required Candidate Experience/Background/Location
4+ years in Customer Facing roles representing solutions for a Saas vendor – examples of titles you will have held include Customer Delivery, Technical Customer Success, Project Manager, Technical Account Manager
Demonstrate Account Management and relationship building skills.
Domain knowledge : Test Automation, Code Remediation, ALM Software , preferably using these solutions to improve/customize SAP ERP/HANA, ORACLE EBS or other large ERP systems.  
Here are some testing solutions you may have sold/represented:  HP-ALM, HP Quality Center, Worksoft, Tricentis, Testplant, IBM/Rational, SAP ALM, Oracle Application Testing Suite, Polarion/Siemens, Smartbear, Micro Focus/Borland Test Automation, etc.
Live in a city in the Western US near a major airport and  travel 30% of the time
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical IT discipline
Ability to work in the US with no sponsorship required

Compensation shown is on target earnings including bonus/variable comp based on goal achievement.  Base salary range is 115k-145k.
