We are seeking a commercial sales representative for an established territory for a growing HVAC distribution company. This company has a great family atmosphere and is focused on people.  As a sales representative you will work as a partner with your customers to grow their business.

A self-motivated Commercial HVAC Sales Representative creates ways to build a sales territory in a competitive HVAC market of contractor businesses and industrial accounts. This is achieved by achieving sales and growth targets by developing new customer accounts and increasing sales within existing accounts.

Candidates must have attention to detail, a high level of problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Qualified Candidates will have the following:

  • 5+ years of sales experience within the commercial HVAC industry.  HVAC industry experience could include refrigeration, HVAC, HVAC/R, Parts, Supplies, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with specifying HVAC equipment

Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve sales goals as well as other objectives in accordance with sales goals established by sales management.
  • Calling on (visiting) engineers, contractors, building owners, etc. in assigned territory
  • Develop, maintain, and manage assigned client relationships, specifically with consulting and design engineers and key end-user/owner engineering department personnel.
  • Actively, aggressively and consistently call on assigned accounts regularly.
  • Work closely with design engineers to develop a solution-oriented approach to meet their project specific needs.
  • Design, specification and bid evaluation of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Estimating and pricing commercial projects.
  • Develop a partnership with customer by providing professional representation and assistance in all areas to improve customer’s profits.
  • Present products, and make presentations during sales calls.
  • Prepares customer quotes per customer requirements and follow up
  • Works closely with the sales manager and other personnel to promote sales in territory.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training classes, etc.
  • Managing commercial accounts with responsibility for sales and support.
