Our client (a world class resort) is seeking a creative individual to lead and coordinate their marketing team, with a focus on driving their story and passions and showing people why they should come stay at their resort! This is a unique opportunity for a passionate marketing professional who loves genuine hospitality and is eager to lead and grow using their creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and boots-on-the-ground approach.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and analyze the success of all marketing efforts
  • Create strategic marketing plans and execute in coordination with resort team
  • Identify opportunities in the market and make impactful ties to their community
  • Share and build with local partners to create a true-to-place experience for all who visit he property
  • Initiate dialogue with both internal (associates) and external guests to build meaningful relationships and help shape and build understanding of the unique resort brand
  • Support operations and events, ensuring marketing tactics that support the business operations
  • Create authentic experiences that engage, reward, and attract new customers and influence our associates
  • Understand and support daily operations and special events to drive the resort purpose
  • Conducts solicitation and maintenance calls to media
  • Develops strong relationships with e-commerce vendors, media, and distribution channels to ensure quality, cost effective creative executions
  • Identifies and communicates with distribution channels that can sell distress inventory to drive property occupancy
  • Crisis communication will be handled in concert with the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sales & Marketing

Required Experience:

MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE IN Leading Marketing in the Hospitality Industry

  • 4+ years brand marketing experience
  • 4+ years working on community strategies in unique markets
  • 4+ years providing physical, in-house marketing support to a hotel, restaurant, retail, fitness, or community impact organization preferred
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing required
  • Prior leadership experience required
