Our client develops, owns, and operates communications wireless infrastructure facilities primarily for the wireless and broadcast industries. The company’s growth and created this new management requirement, reporting to the COO and directing marketing and proposal activities of a multi-faceted and rapidly growing organization.

The primary responsibility of this role is for a seasoned Marketing Specialist with a strong background in sales and proposal responses/documentation.  The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing effective marketing and sales strategies that are in alignment with business needs and direction, partnering with sales for presentations, RFP responses, possible attendance at trade shows and other marketing and sales related undertakings. 

The successful candidate will play an integral role in engaging with the company’s dedicated sales and engineering personnel and business groups while creating effective strategies that will promote achievements of annual and long-term new sales and business growth for our company.

Essential Duties of the Job:
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to determine processes and needs.  Develop presentation materials, forms, spreadsheets as well as other documentation, responses and guidelines to define the overall essence of responses and approach of market presentation purposes as well as client requests.         
  • Drive sales lead generation programs, revenue growth initiatives and business development opportunities.
  • Revise and maintain company website, while keeping it aligned to the company’s mission, vision, goals, and overall direction.  Creates and executes an industry targeted, annual 4P marketing plan and budget. 
  • Develop and distribute internal and external corporate communication messaging.  Make recommendations on documents and formats needed to streamline sales and proposal responses. 
  • Ensure that the essential Request for Proposal (RFP) Information (company summary, references, recommendations, past experience, etc.) are timely drafted, prepared and accurate. 
  • Works closely with the Sales and engineering staff and proposal teams on current and future business opportunity needs. Creates marketing materials and ensures they undergo reviews regularly while adhering to sales and marketing guidelines. 
  • Develops, communicates and promotes marketing plans and recommendations to senior management.  Analyzes data to determine accuracy, efficiency and makes recommendations accordingly. 
  • Designs, maintains and delivers business presentations. Coordinates and integrates materials in preparation for RFPs and other presentations with sales, engineering and other participants.
  • Represents the company in other business events as identified relevant for continued future business development. 
  • Works closely with Administration and Human Resources in the coordination and successful presentation of company events.  
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related area. 
  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing role and 5 years in Sales.
  • Related experience in Tower Development, Real Estate and/or Wireless Telecom preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and tools and strong understanding of web analysis tools.  
  • Experienced in Market Opportunity sizing.
  • Database analytics.
