The Business Solutions Process Lead’s primary focus is to provide leadership and oversight in aligning business unit requirements to global standard technology solutions. This role focuses on providing functional/technical leadership for financial system enhancements and major upgrades. The Process Lead, in partnership with the Finance Department, identifies opportunities for improvement, provides technical leadership for enhancement requests, and acts as a liaison between the Finance and Financial Information Systems teams. The role requires understanding business automation needs, gathering and documenting requirements via functional specifications, developing test plans, and producing the end result. The Process Lead ensures business process and system configurations are optimized, streamlined and adheres to global standards. Job Responsibilities:
Primary objectives of the Finance Process Lead include alignment and coordination of the global Finance team, with focused concentration on the primary functions of General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing Cost, Project Cost and Tax. Candidates for this position should have deep understanding of end to end financial processes including reporting and master data maintenance. Candidates must also have a strong working knowledge of upstream impacts and system integrations.

• Lead the scope definition, development and management of business solution projects.
• Ensure functional and system design specifications meet global standards.
• Ensures strong working relationship with key business function users and management.
• Understand the emerging technology and upgrade features for each process.
• Provide business solutions management feedback regarding customer satisfaction.
• Ensure functional and system design specifications meet established architectural standards.
• Work with Solutions architects in identifying system weaknesses and recommend solutions
• Perform feasibility and functionality studies.
• Problem definition and resolution.
• Estimate project resource and time requirements.
• Assess and predict the cost and timing impact of project changes and system revisions.
• Provide activity reports, project status reports, and meet all Project Management Office reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or a field related to the application Financial Management area for which the IS Process lead is responsible is required.
• 5-8 years of work experience in with Oracle Applications R12 Financial modules required
• Exposure to downstream modules, Order Management and Inventory preferred. EDI experience is preferred.
• Packaged application integration and customization (3rd-party purchased applications) preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Finance business processes in a global Finance environment preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL based queries preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Some travel required
