INFORMATION SYSTEMS INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
Daveport IA - (relocation assistance available)

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of current over all Information technology experience including networking, infrastructure, RDBMS, applications, systems management
  • 2+ years of recent experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Systems Management  & Network Management experience:
  • Windows Server,  XP,  and / or Windows 7 experience
  • TCP/IP , Ethernet experience, HW and SW integration,Switching, Routers
  • Oracle &  SQL experience 
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) communications experience (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, GE, Siemens etc)
  • Object Oriented Programming (OOP) (C#, C++ , and or Java)
  • Electrical  experience a plus
  • Instrumentation knowledge/ understanding (Flow, Pressure, temperature, speed, etc)
  • Project Management / Team lead experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Information Systems Engineer is responsible for level II support of all network, systems, database and applications within this industrial manufacturing facility.    You will be responsible for supporting level I Engineers and providing Systems, Network, Database and applications monitoring, backup, troubleshooting and support.  You will be responsible for performance management, performance monitoring, ensuring systems maintain uptime without issues, testing, troubleshooting.  You will also take part in migration projects, upgrade projects .  We are looking for someone who has had some exposure in a Six Sigma environment, or understands the Six Sigma process. You will be working directly for a Six Sigma Black Belt and along side LSS Greenbelts.   The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background that encompasses the major IT pillars:  systems, networking, databases, applications and will be able to perform core functions including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, implementation, integration, architecture / design, customization, configuration  etc. 

You must be familiar with working in an industrial / manufacturing environment and understand computer systems that run large manufacturing machines.  Your proven experience must include strong PLC experience, and a basic knowledge of how electronics works is highly desirable.

COMPENSATION:  
Salary range $75,000 - $105,000 +  exceptional benefits package + relocation
