This position requires strong electrical aptitude, with the ability to support sophisticated systems for a wide variety of challenging applications. In this position you will primarily be in the office handling electrical engineering duties including: review of customer specs, development of bills of materials, design (panel layouts, sizing/specifying components, etc.), drawing (AutoCAD experience preferred), prices from suppliers, preparation of customer submittal documents (drawings, calculations, material cut sheets, control narrative, process description, etc.), supporting programmers, electrical production staff, field service personnel and clients. Occasional travel may be required, but you should have plenty of advanced notice.   • Bachelor’s degree in controls/automation engineering.
  • Knowledge or experience with AutoCAD or Modicon
  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong PLC and HMI programming skills ( Wonderware, RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, FactoryTalk View, etc.)
  • Ability to design, read and comprehend technical drawings.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and co-workers.
  • Careful attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
