The candidate selected for this highly visible Corporate Financial Analyst role will support the organization to drive cost of sales performance improvement. The role will by driven by excellence and a quest for ongoing continuous improvement. This position will work closely with various cross functional business partners in operations and finance to drive performance, and partner with various functional units to collect, analyze and transform data into meaningful and effective presentations for senior management. Selected individual will work with local sales & operations to interpret results, create forecasts and drive proactive change

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Support and drive business decisions from a branch and supply chain finance perspective, based on deep dive reviews.
  • Lead role in corporate strategic planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting.
  • Lead efforts to integrate tightly with key operations groups to provide sales and profitability trends, analyze key drivers of growth, cost changes, and support for cost reduction efforts. Present analysis to executive management.
  • Create processes for measuring key performance drivers (key metrics).
  • Evaluate impact of changes in supply chain on cost through what-if analysis.
  • Develop financial presentations for executive level management and the Board of Directors.

    QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • BS, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated superior analytical skill set and ability to recognize and interpret business issues/opportunities and recommend solutions through analysis and clear, concise communication.
  • Excellent modelling skills and experience developing models.
  • Deep familiarity with and comfort working in Microsoft Excel, QlikSense business intelligence tool, & Microsoft SQL skills with data warehouse.
  • Experience preparing concise presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint for senior leadership and Board of Directors
  • Experience with statistical and/or predictive analysis with real-world impact is a plus.
  • Comfort working independently and owning projects / work products, which will be presented to senior leadership
  • Experience working across and with various levels of the organization including senior leadership, facility management, sales teams & functional location employees to implement effective change via relative data presentation and analysis.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
  • Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
