We are currently searching for an ERP - Financial Operations Controller to join our Operations Team located in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley area), CA. This position will be charged with implementing enterprise solutions for our nationwide operations, to include KPI generation and reporting, and complete ownership of the process from planning, to implementation, to maintaining the completed system. Initially, the primary project will be to assist to us to install an ERP system, followed by reverting back to being a controller or CFO type after these projects are completed. Prefer candidates with an initial audit background within a Big-4 or national CPA firm who then progressed into financial management, with significant exposure to managing an ERP systems implementation.


  • Assess our organization, becoming familiar with our workflows (timesheet management, billing, scheduling, Go to Market, client delivery, etc.) through face to face interviews and conference calls
  • Provide strategic-level insight and tactical-level effort (in-depth knowledge and hands-on)
  • Systematize our processes to prepare them for automation and integration to the ERP
  • Research ERP solutions based on our needs in the professional services industry
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Visualize and present the plan for implementation
  • Leverage exceptional communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate superb emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Manage the financial reporting system to include KPI dashboards
  • Experience leading and managing a high performing accounting team through a period of high growth and expansion
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes for improved efficiency
  • Develop and implement accounting processes able to successfully add value to a continuous change oriented environment
  • Leverage new technology with learned best practices to optimize service to internal and external stakeholders and users


  • Experience implementing an ERP/Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution
  • Experience working in the professional services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ related experience in Accounting, Information Technology, or Finance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management processes/methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC, etc.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to a high-demand, fast-pace, and dynamic work environment
  • Preferred certifications: CPA, PMP, MBA
  • Preferred software experience: NetSuite, QuickBooks, Concur, Tenrox, TriNet, Advanced Excel
