Responsibilities Include:



  • Application of industrial control and power hardware
  • Design of electrical control panels including mechanical layouts
  • PLC programming for process and machine control
  • HMI programming for process and machine control
  • Higher level database creation, manipulation and debug
  • Networking and communications design and implementation
  • Wireless communications (Radio, Cellular, satellite)
  • Project Management

 


Requirements



  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • OR 3-5 years' experience
  • Rockwell PLC
  • VFD experience including designing integration
  • Motion Control experience a plus
  • PlantPAx experience a plus
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS project, etc.)
  • Design of electrical control panels including mechanical layouts
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and apply innovative concepts
  • Capable of multitasking a number of projects
  • Trouble shooting
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA79 and UL as applied to industrial control systems
  • Overnight travel 30-40%
